Finally broke down and bought a PS3... When I first joined 2O2P I had intended to buy a PS3 and an xbox shortly thereafter.  Well, I did get them, sorta, but gave them and other things up for some needy families at Christmas time in our area, and been doing it ever since.  To make a long story short, found a few extra bucks last month and bought the unit.  Currently playing SOCOM 4... and for the first time ever I went online... WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE... that was the most fun I think I've ever had (don't say it!), and I'm hooked.  Can't get enought of it.


Truth is: I'm really pretty pathetic at it,  get killed more often than not, but when I do get it right, get a few kills, and survive the battle... It's the Greatest!!!

online is where it's at. much better than any single player experience you can ever have if you've got a competitive streak.

Fetal: yeah, but online MP at 60 is going to be one sobering experience. Us old guys don't have those young reflexes anymore! It's tough enough for me at 50 to be competitive with you 25-35 year old guys and I've been doing it for years and work at it pretty much every night. An old guy new to the online arena will have a much tougher time.\r \r But I hope he doesn't give up, it certainly is very satisfying when you have a good game!
