Fender Bender Morning

So, I'm on my way to work this morning... it's about 8:10am and I get the the intersection where I turn left and my office building is right around the corner. While at the Red light I decided to reach over into the glove box and get a Tums. Well, while I was rooting through the glove box my foot must have slightly pulled off the break enough to get me moving forward because the next thing I feel is...BUMP!... I look up and realize that I just I rear ended the 1997 Nissan Altima in front of me. DOH!!! I was going maybe 1MPH when I bumped the car. I got out and take a look at the front of my truck first (2005 Silverado), nothing... not barely a scratch.. I look over at the Nissan and see this...

Hmm. Under 5mph impact. Why am I thinking 'pre-existing condition'...?

I don't know.. only going 1-2 mph and hitting a small car with a plastic bumper could break like that. 5000lb truck could do that I think.

Yep, similar thing happened to me when I \"bumped\" a nissan - can't remember if it was an altima though...
