Expanding my Vocab with Gaming

Not what you think... but yes, I have been on the forefront of colorful expressions such as douchenozzle, buttwaxer, and n00blet.

There are a few more innocuous words that have wormed their way into my daily vocabulary.  It occurred to me today that I picked them up playing XBL.

Chica - That's Spanish... I'm am not one speck Spanish.  I call all the girls I know chica.  I don't mean to imply that I am Spanish.  I just like the word!

Hella - "Really"  I believe this has a California origin.  I blame all those late night with the Cali-boys.  Growing up in Texas and NC would not have populated this word into my skull

Are there any words you've picked up on XBL?  Taken as your own?

Hella pretty much started in Northern California. When I went to visit a friend in SoCal, I got strange looks when I said it. They had never heard it before, this was back in 99. I thought it was funny that they had no idea what I was talking about.

I hears an interview with James Hetfield from somewhere around 1985 (he was talking about their upcoming album Master of Puppets) where he used the word Hella. James originally from LA, but Metallica moved to San Francisco( I think the fruits and nuts in CA refer to SF as Northern California) in the early 80s. So that's probably where it started.
