End of Year recap
So let me quickly recap the last couple of weeks and know that we are on the upside heading into 2009. So, after her dad is finally into a nursing home, it was up to Stacy to start getting his finances in order. Proble was, he took her off of his accounts, all but one important one...his safety deposit box. And what was residing in said box? Power of Attorney granting Stacy conpleter control over pretty much everything. So seh was able to get that last week, get back on his accounts and start going over what he has and how to manage it, which I will help out with. Now, even better news, not too long ago we were approve for Katie Beckett financial assistance. Well, a couple of days ago, MedicAid took us backa dn has reapproved nursing for Megan. w00t!!!!. We were paying for the nurse out of Megan's benevolence account that had donation money in it from her benefit BBQ back in August, so it's a relief we don't have to run through any more of that.
So, as you can see, we ended the year on somewhat of a high note. We are praying for a safe, uneventful 2009. By uneventful, we mean medically uneventful. :)
