Early Gaming Present to Myself

Well, I have been working like a dog in the retail world for the past few weeks and have not had much time to play online or post here at 2oldplay. I miss all my peeps here and hope to become more active soon after the New Year.

In the meantime, check out the cool new toppers for my PC-10 arcade cab that I got in the mail today. These are meant to be attached over the regular marqee on the cab.

Man I miss those. My dad managed an Aladdin's Castle here in town and brought home half a spy hunter game. Really wish I still had that control deck and sign off it.

Wow, you should have taken anything and everything you could from that place! Keep an eye on Craigslist as arcade games are currently at their lowest prices ever. In this economy, it is definitely a buyer's market. Also, check out KLOV (http://forums.arcade-museum.com/index.php) for tons of info, advice and games for sale. Also, feel free to contact me if you need any links, help or advice. I may not know everything, but probably know enough people to find a legitimate answer to pretty much any question you might have.

I love the \"new game\" monikers. Especially \"New Game - 1942\", which was erm dated 1985.

Those are freaking sweet! Contra FTW! :)

Yeah Snuphy, these were meant to go on top of a Nintendo Playchoice-10 Arcade cab back in the day to announce new game releases. I happen to currently have 1942 & Contra in my collection, so those two are now on top of my cab at home.
