EA and their decision.

Nearly a week after E3, big industry news hit the public regarding an exclusive contract between Microsoft and Activision. Detailing any DLC from Activision published games would be exclusive for the Xbox 360 at least for a month after release.

So when EA made a similar agreement with Sony over DLC exclusivity it came as no suprise to me, as well as a lot of people.

However, even though the battle between EA and Activision, which is so well-known, continues it shouldn't effect the gamer or consumer in any way. My direct grudge with this situation is the Medal of Honor beta. As of right now has been running for almost two weeks on the PC and PS3, but not the Xbox 360.

Wake the fuck-up EA, you want people to buy your games, you have to show equal treatment to gamers, no matter what system they use. Think you can do that because I still have faith that the company isn't evil like Activision.

I thought a deal between EA & Sony was strictly speculation, aka not real. Linky poo to announcement por favor??

It just means lost money for EA, a month delay in DLC means i'll have been done with the game and moved on not to return. So i won't be consuming any of their DLC.

my opinion is EA has been south of heaven for a long time.

You know what I don't have a link to the news site because I was there at E3 when they announced it. But how else would you explain why the beta isn't available on 360, oh by the way at the time of this posting its been three weeks since the beta has been out.

I have to agree that EA was south of heaven for a long time, but they are getting better.
