Drinking during the day: Pics incl!

Not alcohol... Diet Coke. I was so sleepy, Erica chose not to nap, and I really really needed one.  I suppose I shouldn't complain, but I am so tired. Comes with the territory I suppose.  I've been playing lots of CoD. Well: probably not much compared ot people on this site (or my clan) but lots for me.  I am SO close to going up a rank. I love it!

Today was such a relief. I am going back to work in 5 months, so Erica is going to daycare. Today I toured my first (possibly last) one. I knew I had anxiety about this, but I didn't realize how much until I *almost* started crying on the way home cause I was so happy.  The women there have been at the daycare for years. A few since the 80s.  The newest has been there 3 years.  They seem so loving, they give the kids a hug, kisses the little ones when they were dropped off.  It's a gov't liscenced daycare, so all the main stuff is taken care of (teacher to baby ratios, safety measures, space requirements, background checks etc.). So I guess the only thing to look at is how you "feel" about the place. Does it fit with what care I would give my baby girl if I was able.  This one really falls in line with what I like. The meals are nutritious, but nothing fancy. Lotsa fun, lotsa kids: I really want this to work!  AND it's not that crazy price wise.  Well, any daycare is expensive, but not as much as I was thinking we would be paying. 

And the best part: Erica seemed to like it. I went to take the tour and left her with the other babies. I get back: she's happy as a clam, so I decide to leave her there while I got the administrivia done. I get back: what was she doing? Sitting at the table like a big girl, eating a snack with all the other kids. How cute!!  You have to picture, when I say sitting at a table, the table is maybe a foot and a half, 2 feet from the ground... really small. Baby sized.  So sweet.
