Downhill from here

Vehicle update.  Honda has diagnosed the air compressor problem so I am now waiting for corporate and local dealer to talk and decide how much help they can extend me in getting that replaced.  I'm sure it won't be much since I don't do business there.  But, it will help.  The rear differential needed to have the fluid changed and that was done.  I found out that there has been a notice put out to the dealerships on how to deal with the problem only recently.  This is not a technical service bulletin.  But it was put out this past year for the 2004.  So, if I have to replace the rear diff because the fluid change did not help, Honda will be hearing from me.  There has been no public notification that this may even be a problem.  I was told that the problem is that when some of the vehicles left the line, the rear diff fluid may have been contaminated.  But, they didn't tell anyone until now.  GRR.

Wisdom tooth will be taken out the first Friday in November with a general AND will not cost as much as I originally was told by my first dentist AND I don't have to have both of them taken out, only the one that is peaking through the gum line.  Whew.

The lumpy boob MRI is completed.  Damn but it took 2 hours.  I had to lie face down with the girls hanging free in a box like form.  So, although it wasn't a boob sammich, it still wasn't comfy.  To make matters worse, I got a tickle in my throat and couldn't cough.  MRI's are very sensitive to movement.  Oh, then there was the noise.  I thought I was in the middle of a construction zone.  First the hammering bang, bang, bang.  Then came the jack hammer.  Yes, they had a headset for me, but when you are lying face down and your head is off to the side, it is hard to keep a head set on.  Plus, the music wasn't loud enough and I had no control.  The last fun bit was I'm still a little congested from the summer cold so breathing was out of one nostril and it happened to be the one in the pillow.  Life is a joy.  Now after lying still for so long and having the contrast solution pumped through me, I'm still a little dizzy.  (Just a little more than normal:))  I should hear something back next week some time.

Now, Dastard and I are off to our first parent teacher conference tonight.  This should be interesting.

Keep on Go!
