You know the drill.  I am about to request that political posts be marked just as NSFW.  8 years of one party being flagrantly bashed and belittled, what did you expect?  That no one would turn it around on you?  That they would turn the other cheek once the balance of power shifted?  Of course not!


"But I'm right." "But it's a lie" "But he said..""But she said..." 


At this point, I don't really care who is in power.  I don't care what was promised.  We are in such a bad bad situation right now, I strongly doubt anyone has the time or resources to push ANY agenda.  I'm cannot blame Obama for backing off some of his campaign promises.  They were just that .. promises.  Ideas meant to reflect his character and what he would like to see this Country accomplish.  Pointing out a political party's, or candidate's, ideas that you disagree with is a good thing.  Making personal attacks on someone, and assuming many things about a person's character and political values outside of what they have stated, that is NOT productive.


So Truce?  OLLY OLLY OXEN FREEEEEEEE!!!!  C'mon, I promise we can all start backbiting each other once our pockets are lined again.  Right now I am too poor to have an opinion.

A few notes on the Gears campaign.... I love 90% of it. 


What I don't love is,.....


1. Unskippable Cut scenes.


2. Long ass cut scenes... that you can't skip


3. Mid-gameplay cut scenes.. that you can't skip, are really long, and make you waste ammo in creatures you don't have to kill.


4. The :Gonna walk slow and hold my ear: waltz.  Srsly... I'd rather have an unskippable cut scene.

I agree with you Jeep. I may not have voted for him, but I'm not going to spend my every waking moment cutting him down either.

You can skip cut scenes where you have no control of the char..just hit the back button...

I thought you couldn't skip the cut scenes in the first Gears on your first play through. Obviously that was a long time ago but I am sure you couldn't skip them on first play through.

I'm on my second play through, but all cut scenes and slowed down chat parts can be skipped. Some of the cut scenes are actually there to mask load screens, so you'll get the spinny cog instead. The game goes a *lot* faster when you skip all that stuff.

yeah i was gonna mention the back button. And I agree on the politics part, its done its over. Give the man his 4 years and see how he fucks/unfucks the country.

You can skip the cutscenes. Maybe not on your first play through but Epic has said in a few of their VidDocs that you will be able to skip the cut scenes. Maybe you have to wait until your 2nd play through? You could skip them in Gears 1, no reason why you wouldn't be able to in 2.\r
