Do Tires in GTA V make a difference?

Im level 76 now. As waiting for the higher end paying jobs I find myself thinking of things to do until the DLC comes out.

One Project that comes to mind, is the theory of the type of wheels you put on any given car.

The Project car: Declasse Saber Turbo (Olds 442)

The Saber Turbo is ass happy, Meaning that, any corner makes you feather the throttle to maintain control from a spin out. This particular model is maxed out except for the armor. Everything else has the top upgrade. If you look at the image. You might see where the custom tires say "Drag Radial". These are "Muscle" type tires with a simple rim.

Test Track: Arms Race

This track is nice and simple, with and easy transition, a soft turn, and a hard turn. This will prove to be perfect for testing out different settings with in the modifications of any car.

There will be 5 laps for each different type of tire with posted times.
