Did Cliff's wish come true??

I recall seeing a video interview with Cliff Bleszinski where he was asked what he would consider a launch success for Gears of War 2. His answer? Paraphrasing, "I hope that Xbox Live crashes because of all the Gears 2 users"...

Even though it's a week after launch, could it be that Cliff got his wish, considering the recent Xbox Live problems?!?! I can't even connect today so I'm relegated to playing Gears 2 multiplayer in a local match with bots, for crying out loud. Hey, guess it's a good way to work toward some of those achievements. It might not be due to all of the Gears 2 traffic, but it is an interesting coincidence.
