Defensive Driving

Arghhh...  taking the course as we speak here at work.

Being the procrastinator that I am, I've waited until the last minute to get this completed so I don't get a speeding ticket on my record.

How stupid I am to forget that the course takes about 6 hours to complete, and that no matter how fast you cruise through it, they make you go through the whole 6 hours.

For example, I'm currently on the fourth lesson.  The lesson is slated for 50 minutes.  It has 78 pages to read.  Most of these pages are 1-2 sentences.

Currently, I'm on page 58 of 78.  Guess what, I've only spent 30 minutes on the lesson.  I could finish out the other 20 pages in 5 minutes, but I'd still have to sit for 15 minutes before I'm allowed to continue onto the next module.

Stupidity at its finest.
