Daylight Savings

So...Daylight Savings was moved to an earlier date, right?  We all heard how computers would have problems, phones would have problems...etc etc....

no one mentioned that VCR's would have problems!!!  I have a TV & VCR in my room, and I use the clock on the VCR as the clock in my room...I have an alarm set on my palm pilot (Which also had problems with the early Daylight savings)...

I never heard my alarm this morning, and I looked at the clock, and it said 8:30...which was a half hour past what I planned to do.  So, I got up, showered...etc etc...

Went into the kitchen and the clock said 8:30.  AHHHHHHHH!!!!  I lost a whole hour of sleep!!  GRRRR

I'm so tired...stupid VCR's.

My laptop saved my bacone with that... I noticed that it was an hour later on my laptop than on the rest of my clocks... Good thing, otherwise I would've been hour too late for work the next day...

Anything with a clock in it will have a problem. 'dumb' electronics like VCR's are the worst because there's no way to update them on the new time zone rules. So if they do DST changes, you'll have to change them 4 tiems a year now, on the old and new dst dates. It's really irritating.
