Cutie Replaced by Willfullness
Erica has learned the word "No"
As in "Kisses for Mum?"
"no"
"do you want to read the book?"
"no"
"Can a duck and a frog be friends?"
"No"
"Do you want to munchers (food)?"
"No"
It's really cute to see them so willful. I can't control her desires anymore. I mean I am still the boss, but it's wonderful to see her be her own person.
I say that now, when she starts the temper tantrums I'll let you know

lol you're gonna get sick of hearing that word real soon.\r
I foresee the phrase \"Don't you tell me no young lady.\" in your near future.
It can be handy\r
\r
\"do you want a beating?\"\r
\"no\"\r
\"Do you ever want a boyfriend?\"\r
\"no\"\r
\r
See it works for you
You should see her first thing in the morning.\r
\r
Me: \"Do you want to read this book?\"\r
Her: \"No.\"\r
\r
Me: \"How about this book?\"\r
Her: \"No.\"\r
\r
Me: \"OK, how about you choose a book?\"\r
Her: \"Yah\"\r
\r
(Puts her down. Watches as she toddles towards the books, then makes a hard left and sprints for the door, which she proceeds to bang on while saying \"Down!\". Enjoy the feeling of being outsmarted by a 14-month old.)\r
\r
Me: \"Now honey, you know you have to wait for mommy.\"\r
Her: (Jerry Seinfeld/Newman voice:) \"Mom...\"\r
\r
Once she learns to shake her fist it will be even better,
