I got my wedding date engraved on the my wedding band!\r \r I don't know how you have time to even think about personal things in an emergency room. The focus is not on self, but others (and the paperwork!). Gamerchicklet probably got it best, why think about the disquieting (or painful, or negative).

As acrewed up as this sounds, I will remember my 1st wedding anniversary until I die. However, if my 2nd weddings anniversary wasn't the day after the wifes birthday, I'd be screwed.\r \r Honestly I think its like chicklet said, its your brains band-aid

Wow congrats 1st of all not many people seem to take marriage as seriously as it should be :)\r \r Good sign is though your not thinking this is too long bad sign could be that you werent expecting it to be a special day so subconciously blocked it out so not to be dissapointed :)
