Cross your fingers

We are doing the final stage of sleep training tonight.  No matter what happens tonight, Erica won't be breastfed until the AM.  I expect crying tantrums and weeping. And that's from my husband Ba-DA-Da! I'm here all night! Tip your waitress!

Seriously, I hope this goes well.  My husband is taking the night shift. He went to bed when she did (8:00) so he could get in a few hours before she woke up. She usually wakes up around 11:30. it's 10:00 now.  Once she wakes up, he is going to handle her. I am supposed to sleep, get all rested so that I can take care of both of them. Tomorrow night: rinse, repeat.

Like I said, keep your fingers crossed. I hope this works. I haven't had a full nights sleep in well over a year now. It's getting old.

Have a great weekend!

I feel your pain! My firstborn did not sleep thru the night until he was 2 years old. Don't want to discourage you, tho! And, yes, they can cry, and cry, and cry until you think you will go insane. The fact that your hubby is very supportive and helpful is great! Good Luck!
