Well I learned a lot on this little project. 90% of your time is spent on the neck - I probably spent 15 hours on the neck and probably could have spent another 20 hours on it. I still haven't even fretted it (might not).


 


The action is high - that's fine for me because I like to slide - but I like to play a little of both so next time having a lower action will be a priority. I've already noticed 2 significant things I could do to reduce the action.


 


Probably made 100 mistakes on this first one :) but it was a lot of fun. My son is still working on his right now.


 


Tomorrow I'm going to add a piezo pickup to it and plug it in. Maybe if I get it sounding ok I'll post a little video this week or next week. Here's some more shots of this beast - only "real" thing on it are the tuners - everything else is hardware store stuff (keep'n it real yo!)
