Children Smoke?

I just watched a 12 year old girl freak out at a poor Pakistani convenience store clerk because she "NEEDED A FUCKING PACK OF SMOKES!"  What the hell is going on in American.  Do you think her parents don't know she smokes?  She even yelled at me because I wouldn't buy them for her.  I just prey my kids are smarter then this.  At least more respectful.
