Well I finally did it.  After about 90 hours I managed to make it through all of the main quest and guild quests (read: all the achievements) for Oblivion.  It is lame I am sure to many that I am happy about it but it marks the first non arcade game that I have the full points for.  Now of course I have all of the side quests to work on but I have such a sense of accomplishment it is silly.  Just in time for the expansion this Spring I suppose right?  I love this game and what makes it so great to me is I can go back to it after a month of not playing and pick right up and enjoy it.  So much to do and Bethesda does a terrific job keeping it fresh.  I am not even an RPG guy normally but this game just hooked me big time.  Easily the most hours I have put into any game I have owned to date.  I probably could have finished it much sooner but I had the Chromehounds and Rainbow Six Vegas addictions take a lot of my time in the last few months.

congrats bud...\r \r I'm working my way through the Mage Guild quests currently.\r \r Level 23. Holy shit the loot is good now... Daedric weapons and armor.

thanks all\r \r @Soup: yeah the Daedric stuff rocks!\r \r what is funny is I am only a level 19 but I think it is because I sneak a lot and don't use blade skills much, I went the pussy route and do magic and sneak which works ok I suppose, I am going to try and build my guy up a little now using the side quests

I trying to keep my guy balanced. Even on Blade, Sneak, and Magic.\r \r However, my sneak and security skills are already at Master Level.\r \r I've gotta get my Magic caught up, so I'm going to have to spend some time grinding this week. \r \r I can enchant weapons and armor now, but I'm short on spells because I don't have the Magic levels yet.

I spent most of the game as custom battle mage. I was decent with a sword, but I could rock some fireballs. It kind of hurt me a little when I went through the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood, but I managed to do everything with one character. Don't forget about the Daedric Shrine Quests - there is some good loot to be found doing those.
