It's a lump. Can't tell if it's tears or rage yet. I am holding it down... not easily... until we hear more.


Wachovia Bought By CitiGroup - Organized by teh GOV'URN'MINT!


My husband has worked at Wachovia for almost 10 years. Made it through the First Un1on merger - I didn't.. lol - and busted his ass for them on committees, initiatives, discussion groups. Everything we have that is banking revolves around their company.


So... that lump... just pushing it down for now....

I bank at Wachovia and have my mortgage through CitiGroup. Makes it a bit easier for me on the bill-paying end. Hopefully, there will not be huge layoffs.\r \r I'm sure they will keep your hubby on. Seniority has its privileges. \r \r Praying for you. :0

This is a huge blow to the entire Charlotte area, and specifically to the 20,000 Wachovia employees and countless other businesses that count on Wachovia for their livelihood. \r \r Sorry to hear it Chick. You guys (and others I know at Wachovia) will be in my prayers.
