Really cute. It always impossible to keep your children from harming themselves and when they do it just tears your heart apart but you realize it's all part of growing up they have to do.

Cute little girl. My daughters named Sarah as well. Scary pic of the head wound. My daughter fell when she was about 2 yrs old and hit her head on a window ledge that was about 1 foot off the ground and cut herself just above the eye as well. We had so man y dirty looks from nosy busybodies in the stores.\r \r I like dads boots as well, I have my own pair, LOL.

Nice pictures. MY daughter did the \"markers on the body thing\". The good thing was that it was crayola washable markers.

Ouch! I did the same thing to my head; I tried to jump the end table with my tricycle. Still have the divot in my head as a reminder.

Absolutely adorable. I'll share the story of my eldest son when he was ~ 15 mo. old ...\r \r Mom was working nights, as we were poor, young parents scraping by to make ends meet. I'm playing Mr. Mom at home, and having a grand 'ol time. My son was walking on his own, and really starting to get his feet under him to the point of running. To a new Dad, that's great ... it means games of \"Ooooo...I'm gonna get you!\". That's all well and good until Dad steps on the blankie that he has draped over his shoulder as he runs. He momentarily snaps back, then releases the blankie. That puts his momentum going full forward, which forces his forehead right into the corner of the divider between the kitchen and breakfast nook.\r \r Long story, well long...trip to the hospital and 18 stitches later (cut went down to skull...I freaked, needless to say) and he had the scar long before anyone ever heard of Harry Potter. :D\r \r

She's quite the cutie, JC.\r \r With two daughters, ages 14 and 18, I know well the frustrations that can happen as part of day-to-day life, particularly when they're little and oh-so-dependent. I also know well the \"guilt\" over momentarily forgetting how fortunate we are to have them in our lives and not conveying the same. \r \r Trust me when I say that she will grow up faster than you can ever begin to fathom. It's obvious from the pics that you're enjoying the good times, as well as the \"pretzil\" moments . . . :D\r \r Stay the course. We're all doing the best we can as parents. It's a tough road sometimes, but I'm convinced a more rewarding one than any other.\r
