Bummer #2

Thats AWESOME!\r I did that when I was 11. I wanted to go swimming so I just yanked my cast off. My mom is a PT and OH was she mad when she found out what I did. \r Did you get the goretex lining or just the standard non waterproof cotton?

At least he didn't get it wet which would have been worse in my opinion. Glad to see is learning about cast now in stead of later.

that looks like standard cotton. The thumb separator is easly chiseled out by taking a # 2 pencil. Start by pulling the eraser out and bitting the metal part flat. Then chisel away to free the thumb and presto easy removal of that cast. Or at least that is how I done it.

Poor kid, first mom breaks his wrist then she takes his cast away lol :)

Oh man...that is an awesome story to tell one day...you know when he has little crazies...they'll eat that up! :) Did the new cast stay on?
