Buh-Bye Decent Night's Sleep. See ya in over a Year....

So it's begun. I have trouble falling asleep (restless leg, heartburn and TOO DAMN HOT) and when I do sleep, I am now convinced that I am not sleeping soundly. Sleep apnea and general back pain. Back pain is much better since the massage, but it's still not comfy sleeping only on your side.

Sad part is that I have no more bounce for Erica. She is sick at home today with an ear infection. Good news is that the Advil is working to take away the pain. She is a tough as nails kid according to the doctor: had a bulging ear drum, and wasn't making too much of a fuss. Anywya: gave her Advil, which takes out pain and swelling and she is fine now. Anitbiotics should be working by tomorrow PM.

The problem? I can't keep up with her at all... I am SO tired, and there is really no excuse... aside from the above. I havne't worked out, I wasn't at work... nothing. But I am SO exhausted.

So yeah: no sleep for a year at least. Ah well... I got through it once unscathed I shall do so again!

On gaming front: I am playing Magic The Gathering on XBLA. Got the 2nd expansion pack and I am working to unlock all of the decks in their entirety. This fits in perfectly with my lack of bounce. It's so relaxing and easy going. Anyone else playing this? I can see myself getting into MTG online... but I'm cheap. so maybe not.

EDIT: I think the Advil wore off. Just like that: one minute she's happy. the next... sullen and a bit unhappy.... and well... sick

I've never played the console version of Magic so I can't compare what it's like to anything. I can tell you you MTGO isn't all that expensive...9.95 to create an account & no monthly fee after that. I joined in about '02 or so, quit for a couple years, then came back and still had all my cards online waiting for me, ready to play. If you want to play competitively (professional level) or draft it could get expensive real fast, but I for one don't buy more than $4 or $5 worth of cards per month. I wouldn't even have to do that, but the lure of shiny new cards is kinda like crack(so I'm told).\r I've been a member of 2old2play's MTGO clan for about 2 years( Penni's clan), if it wasn't for that I prolly wouldn't be playing at all due to Timmy-frustration, but it's easy in MTGO to lock out the general population & just play with clannies or people on your buddy list. We're a laid back bunch here and don't have peeps that need to win at all costs(they tend to move on), we just like to play & strategize & test new ideas against each other.\r Anyway, just didn't want ya thinking it was all that spendy. It's basically as costly as you want it to be, and yes there are peeps that like wining so much they'll spend a couple hundred dollars on a deck, but like i said, they tend to move on cuz we're to mellow for them.
