Bought a New Camera
I just ordered a Nikon D200 from Best Buy. They must be clearing out their final stock and they have a killer deal on this camera. It's running $599 right now before tax and shipping. If you are in the market, I will throw my recommendation SOLIDLY behind this camera.
It's a couple years old now, but it is still a prosumer camera and at that price point is almost a no-brainer. I was also looking at the D300, but the D300 is twice the price and I just couldn't justify it. You can use the savings to get a really nice lens and I am in the market for a nice, fast, 50mm prime.
