Blog Background

I can't figure out how to get my blog to have a background...I've tried a few different things...anyone got ideas??

yah i think certain file extensions could be why.

If I edited any photos with Print Shop they don't work, but any others seemed to work just fine.

I've tried using photos, backgrounds from online...I am about to give up... ;)
