Well I got a dog yesterday.  A local animal shelter up here by the lake where I'm spending the weekend was having a pet adoption drive.

This is Biscuit.  She's got kindof a fucked up eye, but thats cool.  She was on day 7 of 10 and about to be put down. She's mostly yellow lab and no telling what else.  I guess she's about 3 months old now.  I'm already ready for puppy stage to be over.  She loooooves to bite and chew right now.  I guess she's around 15-18lbs.  She's gonna be a huge bitch.


Glad to have a dog again, soon enough she'll be old enough to throw in the lake and see if she floats.

Dogs are awesome, but the puppy stage gets old quickly. I have a 3 year old Chocolate and you can't keep him out of the water.\r \r Good luck.

that's totally awesome!\r \r all but one of the dogs i've owned has come from the shelter. it just adds to the good feelings of getting a dog.\r \r :)

Had her out all day and she's like a little shadow. She'll even hop in the water on her own accord so she can be with me. I'm glad I got her. Ready to start puppy training now.
