Big Smack Attack
I hate McDonalds.
Despise it. Anytime I eat there, I feel like whatever I ate just sits in my stomach for hours on end. It isn't a good feeling. In fact, the only fast-food burger joint I can stand is Wendys. But I digress.
As much as I hate McD's, it is sometimes unavoidable when you have a 4 year old.
So, we needed groceries last night, and didn't have anything to make at home (cause we needed groceries). So, we go to Wal-Mart. Not my favorite store, but saves us money on Groceries.
This particular Wal-mart has a McD's inside of it. So, we get the kid her usual Happy Meal, and I get a cheeseburger and soda. That's about the only thing I can stomach from McD's, is the basic cheeseburger.
You'd think that would be easy to make. I mean, how hard is it to throw together a patty, slice of cheese, a touch of ketchup, a touch of mustard, a pickle or two, and some diced onions? Pretty frigging hard I guess.
We're walking away to commence our shopping and I'm taking my 2nd bite of my cheese burger. That's when I notice that it just doesn't taste right. Granted, not much tastes right at McD's, but this tasted, for lack of a better word... plain. That's when I notice, there is no ketchup, no mustard, no pickles, and no onions. Ick.
So, I go back and show them that they didn't make it right and I ask for a new one. Being the hard McD workers they are, they provide me one. As I'm walking away, I spread the buns just to check all is good.
Nope. Another cheeseburger with nothing on it. WTF?
Again, I return, and finally get my cheeseburger the way it's supposed to be made. What a hassle for a $0.99 piece of food.
About 40 minutes later, as we are checking out with our groceries, my gut doesn't feel right. Frigging cheeseburger is just sitting in there.
I hate McDonalds.
