Beginning of the Week Rant

Things that piss me off today:

1. Who came up with text messaging? Fuck that guy in the ear. I tried it the other night, it took me five minutes to key in "call me later" to a friend, who ended up calling me in the middle of my text message and left me a voice mail that said, "text me later dawg!" What a fucking waste of technology. And to people who have long conversations via text messaging - pick up the fucking phone and talk to them you socially inept choad huffer.

2. People waiting in line for the release of new video games. Hey, dudes, want a sure fire way to guarantee you won't feel the warm touch of a woman for the next five years? Stand out in line in front of a video game store for a few hours. Nothing says chronic masturbator like wearing a Halo t-shirt and standing in front of Best Buy at 10 PM with your fellow gamers. Geek factor +10 for all you fuckers. Give it a week. It'll be on the shelves.

3. People with teddy bears in their cars. Okay, I can understand a 16 year female doing this, but every time I see a guy in his supped up Honda complete with teddy bears staring at me from the back window I get a good idea of who wears the pants in that relationship. Knock that shit off...it's a fucking car, not your bedroom.

4. The pens in my office. Or should I say the lack of. Fuck, I buy a ten pack of those blue Paper mate medium point pens every week and sure as shit, come Friday they are gone. They're not in the desk drawers, the delivery vans, the break room, the back office, the floor, the garbage, my clipboard or pockets. Conclusion: they're being abducted by aliens in some weird Area 51 conspiracy to rid the world of simple communication. Guess I'll have to text message everything since I can't find a fucking pen to write it down.

EDIT:

One more. One that has been burning me all weekend. MANAGERS that have NO management skills. This goes back to a situation with my wife's job. Basically, one of her fellow co-workers decided that she was going to quit the job, but also do some child care from home (they work at a daycare), basically taking some clients with her.

Well, management got wind of it. So what do they do? Do they confront my wife's friend? Nope, they confront my wife and basically ask her to tell them what is going on. One thing about my wife, is she does not lie. She told them what her friend was going to do, at which they told her not to tell her friend that they talked to her.

My wife didn't feel this was right, so she was up front and honest with her friend. Her friend confronts management, they have a huge dust-up, etc...

Management calls my wife in for a meeting. Tells her that they are disappointed with her actions, and that the actions they had taken with her had been a test of trust for the management. WTF? A test? My wife has worked with these people for almost 2 years. When and what, in the last 2 years had she done to lose their trust? Why are you using this ONE incident to gauge trust? What a crock of shit.

On top of that, they used the "People have told us" statement saying that my wife's attitude has declined in the past month. Hello? Idiots! If you have noticed this and have a problem with it, you talk to the person. You don't wait until some other situation arises to bring that issue up.

Anyways, I'm still steamed and most likely will be for the next few days. It's taking everything I have not to go to that place and rip the so-called management verbally to shreds.

Ya, thats a crock when management takes those methods. As far as trust.....? Integrity to me is shown by your wifes loyalty to her friend, not to a mangement team without the balls to stand on their own and confront the party in question. Grow a sack for Gods sake!

you know what annoys me? People whe drive jeeps, that have the backwards stickers on their windshields that say \"Its a Jeep thing\"....................... no its a fuck tard thing, I can see you have a Jeep, I should hope you do some 4 wheeling, otherwise its a waste of a vehicle, I dont have to strain my brain to try to read your shit backwards, and probably rear ending someone while doing it!!!!!!

Management puts your wife in an uncomfortable and ethically challenging situation, then decides that her reaction to the situation has had an effect on HER attitude... hmmm interesting... so she does what they want, and still feels a need to tell her friend what's going on, and she is at fault both ways. Of course, management has no fault in the situation, blaming instead her attitude based on how the situation affected her... bad manager... BAD MANAGER... NO SOUP FOR YOU!

Fuck those bitches up, Soup. Something similar happened to my wife, and I still dream about filing harassment and criminal negligence charges.\r \r The only issue is our spouses. How can we raise shit without wrecking their fair chance at employ elsewhere in their fields? We don't. So we dream. Personally, I cling to Karma, and the hope that those fuckers choke on water in a restaurant and die in front of friends. It's what keeps me going :)
