Becoming an adult---

In the last two weeks we:

Bought our first "adult" bedroom set. I have never had an entire set that matched. A local furniture maker had an amazing sale - items normally $8,000 were like $2,000. It was to good to pass up. This led to buying a new area rug, curtains, window treatments, another xbox 360, and ceiling fan. The fan is awesome it has a heater built in for the winter. IT BETTER WORK!! The upstairs gets freezing... My husband is trying for a 32" plasma or atleast a flat panel -- keep twisting honey, my arm isnt hurting yet... I mean we have a 27" and it isnt a huge room. It is like having a 52" widescreen already...

Put a privacy fence around our backyard. The neighbor behind us has a nasty pitbull that seems to be getting out more and more. Also, our next door neighbor is becoming a daytime nudist.

Are remodeling our kitchen. We are moving our stove, dishwasher, and fridge to different locations. We are also replacing all cabinets and putting in a huge pantry. All of this will be necessary to help with the growth of our 3 sons. The 10 year old already wears a mens 9 1/2 shoe and has a mens 34 waist line. We go through 5 gallons of milk a week and the food bill is insane. Thus the extra pantry and cabinet space is a must... it will almost be a whole new kitchen. 

Had to replace our central air. (This one was unexpected)

Tomorrow, we are buying a car. It is a 98 Toyota Avalon LXS - fully loaded. Pretty Pretty.   So into the adult Sedan life we go... either way, it has to be better than the adult minivan life. I had to trade my f---ing Ford Explorer in on a RED FORD WINDSTAR. I had never felt so poopy in my life.

I have never felt so grown in my life. I wish I could say that we paid for all of this because we won the lotto...[View Image]
