Yep that right boys and girls. CITIbank one of those poor poor banks who desperatly needed bailout money, decided today to go out and spend 45 million on a brand new jet for its execs. WTH!!!

Well i say it like this. This is the reason I dumped BOA and went to a credit union. I mean how in the world are you going to cry for bailout money and the do something moronic like this . In the ecnomic times we are in with everybody laying off people.  I just see things that piss me off about these companies. I say F-em let them worry about themselves, just like every hard working american that is jobless right now., worring about how they are going to feed their family.

If you read the full article you'll see that they ordered the plane 2 years ago, not today, and they are selling the two planes they have now which will completely cover the cost of the new one.

So much for government oversight....\r \r Someone needs their ass kicked. Someone needs to stomp Private Pyles guts in and tell the exects of CITI to return the plane...\r \r

LB I just saw your post. Fair enough argument but don't you think that the prudent thing would have been to cancel the new plane order in addition to selling the older two. No reason the execs can't fly commercial which is substantially cheaper than operating a private jet.

True Corbin, but then there would be people bitching that Citi hurt the company building the plane by canceling an order that's been in place for 2 years, and that the manufacturer was counting on as part of their revenue. It really is a no win for them on this one.
