Backlog is Gonna Crush Me

Still chugging along on LOTR: War in the North.  Not a fantastic game, but it's holding my interest and getting pretty good.  The under-powered spells seem to be more effective after some leveling.  It does drag in some spots - I think I went 2 hours in game without an option to repair my gear last night.  I'm fully intending to see this one through to completion.

This brings me to my next issue - so many games - a common gripe around here.

I just ordered MW3, Skyrim and Halo CE.  MW3 will be at the house today, but I probably won't open it until the weekend.  That means that Skyrim gets no love for a couple of weeks, which means Halo gets no love for a couple of months.  Then there's the matter of my ever growing backlog.

Aside from that, with TRU's and Target's B2G1, mixed with TRU's gift card deal this past weekend, and a Kinect sale there, we've got games coming out of our ears.  At least Christmas should be set.

not a bad problem to have. I still have \"Portal 2\" and \"Dead Rising 2 off the record\" still in shrink wrap. With Skyrim coming in a couple of days, I don't know how I'll be able to finish Batman Arkham City. (I just started it)

I'm the same way, I haven't even touched Gears 3, and will have Skyrim and Lego HP 5-7 on Friday, then Halo Anniversary and a few others.

It used to be you could catch up on the holiday backlog January , Feb and Mar when usually nothing came out. But now companies that get out of the holiday rush release in those months so there's eve more games to play.\r \r I've come to the realization that I just need to let go some games that have fallen from grace in my eyes that I used to play. And others that I want to play that pick shitty release windows like the holidays i just won't ever play.\r \r
