back into it... and pics

After 3 weeks of sick: I finally did a bit of workout. Felt great. Didn't overdo it: the lungs are still crappy from all the coughing.

The BIG news today: I got an e-mail... one of the jobs I wanted came up and BINGO! I am probably going to have half of my job in my current division and half in another! W00T! This new job will be much more engaging. I will be working with growers in the ornamental plant industry: try to get them as many tools as they can to do their job. I have so much to learn, and I am excited to be able to use my skills in a more effective way. I also made a "big picture" picture for my boss: this is what we do: this is how we do it. That also made me happy. Now I just have to convince him that we can give our clients all the information that they need, but in a way were the paperwork that we create is cut my about 3/4. Makes sense to me! I have an advanced degree, people! The public does not pay my salary so I can fill out meaningless paper!
