So to elaborate on my earlier blog, My wife and I are going to have a baby.  We've debated on this subject for quite some time, and decided to just 'go for it'.  We're a little past the 'normal' baby-having age range -I'm 37, she's 40..


We prayed on it and asked if it was only God's will, to grant us a child.  Three weeks later BOOM! Preggars.  This was after tyring previously for around 4 months or so.  I'm nervous, happy, scared, and thrilled all at the same time! My wife goes to the Doctor's on 9/15 to check for a heartbeat, and to see if all is well. 


Names have been decided upon already.  If' we have a boy the name is going to be Mason Andrew Peterson, and if it's a girl Hope Elizabeth Peterson. 


I will be sure to post the results from the Doctor's appt. when we know.

Congrats man. I hope all goes well and you become parents. Then, like the rest of us, your life as you know it will be over. And, the new one will begin.\r \r Do yourself a favor, ask the doc to step aside and let you deliver the baby, you won't regret it. Just be careful, they are frickin' slippery little suckers. The doc can clear the aireways and then let you pull the baby out. I delivered all three of mine and I loved every second of it all. :-)

Congrats!!! I was 38 for my first, and 40 for my second!! Life is good!!

Congrats Wilderz. Make sure your wife has a damn good vag doc because she is going to be high risk. \r \r Daddyness is awesome. You are going to love it.

Grats dude. My wife and I had our first almost 8 months ago and it's an awesome experience. Say goodbye to playing video games and getting any drawing done though, heh.

Congrats... I never got around having a family myself, Muriel perished in a car-crash when I was stationed in the Lebanon eons ago.\r \r After that, I buried myself in my job to deal... I guess I still do.\r \r Enjoy every moment of it, man!
