At the door of t3h suck

It is almost that time of year for me...

the time of year in which I travel for work.  We have these technology shows where we (read: I) set up the telephony/data equipment I support for our customers to check out and demo.  It is actually pretty cool but I hate traveling.  To make it worse this year they decided to do all of the shows in consecutive weeks versus the old format of doing one every couple months.  So beginning in April I will have 4 shows in 4 weeks (Manhattan, Irvine, Denver and Chicago in that order) then a week off followed by our annual conference in Hilton Head for a week (which rocks..so this I like) followed by a week off with the final show in Atlanta.

I enjoy the whole expense account thing, but I hate being away from the family like that and get sick as fuck of airports and hotels.  I guess the free food and booze is ok, but I am not looking forward to it.

that is the one I am looking forward to for that very reason\r \r and Denver since those are my stomping grounds

I feel for you man. That's why I left my last jobs. It was Boston, Baltimore, Phoenix, Minneapolis for. And then they said they wanted me to move to Phoenix. And spend one week a month in LA, and one week a month in Vegas. Too much travel can really wear you down. Be careful man.
