...to TheDastard.

As some of you know, and those of you who don't, I'm related to TheDastard.

Anyways, I was playing COD this weekend, and I got my sister into our party, and she said that Dastard was playing under his son's GT.  So I sent him an invite and brought him into our game.

Well, this was one of his first times going online with a 2o2p party and into MP on COD.  So, you can probably figure out how that went for him.  No perks, no weapon additions, doesn't know the map, and I'm pretty sure none of us went out of our way to help him.  In a party with players in their 30s up to high 40s, and playing against similar opponents.

Experiences like that can really turn people off of a game in a heart beat.

I didn't help matters.  I made a comment in my sister's blog, taking what I thought was a good-natured shot at him.  "Sadness is TheDastard going 2-26"

Now, those of you who know me, know that I don't typically crack on people for how they play or their skill level.  Unless it is my  clan members anyways.

But, at the time I made the comment, I thought I was making a good-natured crack as his brother-in-law, not as a gamer.  But, I made it on the 2o2p website, and not as a private joke, so it came across wrong.

So this is a public apology to TheDastard.  My remark was off-base and uncalled for.  I'm sorry I said it.

Soup has a heart?!?!? We've all been there Soup, hopefully Dastard will take accept and come back. I enjoyed his blogs.

@Snuffy the offer still stands, anyone clan bound who comes through HBG on their way there will have a case, or two to distribute at the LAN... (remember that I'll be leaving for NC on the 6th....unless you want to meet me as we drive south.....)
