I had the oppertunity to play some games of GoW2 yesterday with the AoW clan. Now Im not really a gears person, but I figured I would give the game a whirl since nothing on the 360 has been able to hold my attention for some time.


Needless to say I had a blast. After all it is a 2o2p clan right? In fact the one thing I did notice about AoW is how much it is like 2o2p Clan, my WoW clan, 2o2S, PcP, 2old2pwn, and all the other clans I have had the pleasure to play with. Sometimes I think me and others on the site forget about the core of 2o2p and what it is all about. After dealing with PMs for 100's of members and issues with clans, members, and posts, it's nice to just sit down and smash some skulls for a couple hours (or get mine smashed as the case may be) with some good people.


The reality is, all clans on 2o2p are the same. Sure there might be very slight personality differences, but when it comes down to it we are all here for the same thing; to play video games and meet cool peolpe.  We tell jokes and shoot the shit.  We compete to be better but always have fun in the end.  So thanks so much for having me on for some AoW goodnes and reminding me about what makes the people here so great. The generosity of the AoW's donations is only 10% of the respect I have for their clan, while the people are the 90%. If I ever get good at Gears or have the urge to get my ass handed to me for 2 hours then I'll see you guys on Mondays for clan night. Thanks again.

Consoles are not my first step into online gaming. I was a PC freak long before consoles or the 360. It's not like Im not here guys. Im playing games with 200 other 2o2p members on the PC. \r \r I only hope that someone can make something as compelling as Halo 1/2 to get me out of the office and onto the couch. Till then my Xbox is my Netflix player. Well, maybe not on Monday nights. ;)

Fun games last night. We'll hold a spot for you each and every Monday night. Afterall, It beats seeing Kornheiser call a football game. ; )

Nice man, always good to see you on a console once in a while. As for cool people, it always amazes me how we can get into squabbles and such on the site. Cuz really, when we all get online we seem to mesh and just game. That's what it's about.

Doodi, it was a pleasure to have you join the crew. I am sorry that I had to use your corpse as a meatshield on the first round of the first game. I should show more respect to our illustrious leader. :?P As other AOW peeps have already said, you are always welcome in our house. Thanks for stopping by. Just remember to bring the beer next time.

wish I would've been in the room, I'm on almost every Monday for Gears. Maybe next time! AoW dead room chatter and team kills are the best!
