Anticipation

I don't know if it's just the stars aligning. Tombstone on cable this weekend. I win the complete season of Deadwood off of eBay without any real issues for a great price. Whatever it is, I can say that the anticipation for May 18th is building steadily day by day. It's been quite a bit of time since I've really been amped about a game, to the "I might be willing to brave a midnight release" level of excitement. However, Red Dead Redemption is getting to that level fast. I don't know whether it's because it is made by Rockstar - a company that really hasn't let me down yet. Or if it's the western setting that has been so underused by and large in gaming over the years, but one that I do enjoy. Whatever it is...I'll say it again...May 18th can't come soon enough.

Of course, on the 18th I fly out to Sweden for a few days. [View Image] That said, I'm giving serious consideration to lugging the PS3 with me. [View Image]
