Almost there

The 2 week whirlwind road trip with the new man is winding up today.  Whew.  It seems we have been everywhere and done everything, but that is just not true.  We have been very busy, though.  The apartment is completelely closed up and keys have been handed in.  I watched my big grandson graduate from high school and took the little one to see Shrek.  I am now a Shrek fan.  I also managed to survive the graduation party with ex and new man in the same room together.  Whew.  It went well, both were well behaved, and that particular discomfort is done with.  I start the prejob part my new job tomorrow....benefits, phyical, and some orientation.  It's just all day and then I really, really start the following Monday.  This month of being "between jobs" has flown by.  Now I have to get back to business. 

The hard part about all of this is my baby boy and littlest boo boo, Adtler.  He will be 8 next month, and has a hard time understanding all of this that has happened.  He says things like "when will I see you again?" and "can I go home with you?".  He's my boy, all right.  I do miss him the most.  But, we have a tentative date for Busch Gardens next month (b-day present), and I am already looking forward to that. 

I am travelling my new road, and we shall see what the future holds.  Life is good!
