I was checking out this bloggity post (take a look: it's a bit of news and insight by a fellow 2o2per...)  about Madden and the Carolina Panthers and why the author is excited about the NFL season. Warning... the link contains a picture of a very tight cheerleader's ass. Don't say that the JayCat didn't warn you.


I am a 'Skins fan* but I will always have a place in my heart for the Panthers. Why? Cause my man put down cash on them the year they won their conference. And we were *forced* (forced I tell you!) to go to Vegas and collect our winnings. So on a $50 bet we won (I think) $2000.


Oh Vegas. I still love you. Wait for me?


Anyway: That is the best sports gambling moment. What about you guys? Any thoughts on the upcoming season? Any good sports gambling stories?


Also: Feel pity for the man. This baby making thing may mean that he will be occupied on fantasy football draft day.


*I'm a Skins, and a Leafs fan. My husband is a Leafs, Jays and 49ers fan. Between the two of us we will know nothing but sports misery. Except for the fact that I am a slef proclaimed baseball bandwagon hopper. I will happily, loudly  and without embarrassement cheer for whomever tickles my fancy. Except and team that has Jeter on it. That smug son of a bitch makes me want to punch a nun.

The Leafs rule - all that other shit sucks. Tell your hubby to get on the horn with Double B and move Kabby - he's making me nervous with all this patient waiting crap.

Definitely check out Rabb's site. I've enjoyed it for quite a while. Also, can we assume you'll be cheering for Ottawa's new CFL team once their back in '13?

Well let's see I am a diehard Detroit Lions fan (yeah yeah I know!!!), but pretty much a hardcore football fanatic, as for sports betting, seeing that we're both Canadian J-Cat I assume the bet you made was through Pro-Line; I've made some pretty good money such as payouts of $500, $700, and $900 last December, but your bloody Panthers screwed me over one year for a payout of over $65,000; they let the damn Packers score within the last 30 seconds of the game and there went that ticket, SOB!!!!

I have to agree with William. Misery, shmisery. Can you say Red Right 88, The Drive, The Fumble, The Shot(s), 2 outs in the ninth in the World Series? Browns to Baltimore and than the Ravens win it all. The latest, Queen James to Miami. I would love to have some of that 49ers misery. Didn't Cleveland's own Joe Carter do something for the Jays? Don't remind me...
