A thousand ways to die

I spent the evening playing the Gears 3 Beta.

It is to die for ... or in my case, to die in.

* A LOT *.

So I figure I'll get the hang of things after a while but I have to see how many different ways I can ge executed first. There seems to be a lot of different ones and I think I saw the greater majority of them performed up close and personal. On me ...

Anyhow, my take on the whole thing is that for there to be winners in these games, someone has to die and that's the part I'll likely be playing for a little while and having a blast at the same time.
