WHY the hell do people feel the need to placate you when you have a legitimate gripe???? WHY the hand holding ????  If you disagree with what IM saying have the god damn balls to say so...


I respect that MUCH more than the smile the nod and the placated manner in which a response is given. Why do some people put so much effort into sounding diplomatic when YOU know deep down they want to tell you to fuk off.!!!:)


One day those people will see in day to day life their stress level would be much less if they spoke their mind instead of worring about being liked.


DISCLAIMER: I do know there is a time and a place for diplomacy and even the smile and nod, such as work and with a spouse LOL but in gaming or friendships and such really take the balls out of the purse and wear them!!!


I do think this may come across slightly :) abbrasive however I am just so tired of fake ass people.

Haven't we heard this before? Hahahaha.\r Seriously though, I don't think that all people who are diplomatic or tactful are fake. I may feel like telling someone to fuck off, but that's not always the best route. I may need that person later. I read a good book a while back titled Words that Hurt, Words that Heal. It's a great guide for verbal communication for any type of relationship...work, marriage, friends...you name it.

Yes but making people feel warm& fuzzy is great but when answers are needed why the avoidence? with some? (( sp)) that was what my blog was about not to hurt people with words.. but to not get placated when answers are needed...

I completely understand how you might feel this way. Your feelings are valid and you should feel in no way threatened by my response. I think it is delightful that you feel the freedom to express yourself this way in a shared venue. Have yourself a lovely day.\r \r
