A few wintery pics.
Just a few winter pics with my new camera Nikon D90. I love having a DSLR, it was a little overwhealing at first now I feel like my only limit is me. Very fun and cool.
My X-mas tree going warp speed.

Anna's Hummingbird, we still have 4 of em, this guy partols our 2 feeders. The other morning I went to put out the feeder and he was outside the window waiting for breakfast and landed on the feeder before I even got it hung up. With it being so cold we have to thaw out the feeders once during the day and bring em in at night.

Pileated Woodpecker, he visits us about once a week.

Wow, those pictures are stunning. At some point, after the kids are grown and gone, I can see wanting to really understand how to take good pictures. Right now, it's just too busy in life to really figure that out and then be ready to take em. :)
Is that the camera from the Ashton Kutcher commercials? \r
Really pretty incredible D.. and 2300! That's a healthy addiction. :)

I still have a long way to go before I have everything figured out, but after about 1 month and 1,500 pics I feel like I can get most of my pics that aren't total crap and maybe every 1 in 100 is good. Biggest thing I found is taking 3-4 pics of each subject with different settings, and never shooting in the auto setting. I have started taking my camera with me everywhere and taking pics of anything when I have a few free moments.
