A Bit of Griping

Ok, so I am a bit irritated and I am going to just vent to just stick with me and it will be over soon.

I truly feel that there are unspoken rules that are to be abided by when in a game.  Here are just a few:

1.  If you are a guest in the room DON'T invite people in unless you have gotten permission of the room.  I have been in rooms where we invite one person in and suddenly their "Friends" are all in there and I know no one and I am very very uncomfortable.  I REALLY hate that and it is a HUGE pet peeve of mine.  New people change the make up of the room and can make it uncomfortable and not as much fun if they are dbags.

2.  Don't complain all the time and make excuses for your lack of playing skills.  If you have a bad game, shrug it off and move on.  Don't blame lag, don't blame other players, etc.  It isn't a big deal from time to time to complain, everyone does but not ALL the time.

3.  Don't yell into the mic.  People can hear you and people don't want screaming in their ears.

4.  DO NOT tell other plays how to play.  Most of us are NOT into playing MLG nor do we want to be yelled at and told what to do in game.

5.  Do not scream obscenities into the mic over and over.  From time to time, understandable but not every single time.

Thank you for listening to my rant.

Number one is why I always set the room to invite only. And I don't feel bad about booting people if necessary.
