Thank god I bought into the whole 401K bullshit when they started it up at my place of employment years ago. I have stored up almost as much money in my 401K as I would have if I took a one dollar bill and shoved it up my ass each paycheck. Plus it would be a hell of a lot safer.

I haven't even looked at mine. I think i have 4 401K's I need to consolidate. Remember though, it's a good time to buy, unless we decide to go to socialism, in which case we're all hosed anyways.

I haven't looked at my 401K account in months.\r \r Last year I decreased the amt going in to $50... my company matches so $100 goes in every month. lol.. I know, I know I'm gonna be rollin in dough when I retire\r \r I put my money where it counts... like Amazon or Overstock

Make sure you're sitting down when you decide to look at it. I lost 30% of that cocksucker last year.

Makes me feel better about cashing my 401's out when switching jobs. That 10% penalty aint looking so bad anymore.
