12 more hours of work, then... Home!

Today's the last work night for me, so tomorrow morning I'll be winging back home for a short weekend. At work, it's a shutdown week for some facilities upgrades, but I don't have any vacation time accrued yet. I guess that means it'll be make-work for 3 nights this coming week. Luckily, I've got four glorious days off to recover afterward.
This Monday also features a return engagement with Dr. Anti-House. He should be pleased with my progress thus far. I confess I haven't felt this good, overall, in decades. And, I'm being super-strict about my eating habits. The next phase will be some form of mild exercise, probably a regimen of brisk walks. Plus, there are a couple of cute housewives in my neighborhood who walk daily. ;-)

One item which I found particularly hilarious today was the news that the Call of Duty military advisor - the dyed in the wool combat vet who advises the devs on realism, tactics, etc. - is a confirmed Timmy-hater. He even goes so far as to call them 'little bastards', which is mild compared to the stuff I call them when the mike is muted.

Today's featured Modern Warfare vid is another of Ken Burton's 'Shit I never use' vids, this one featuring the Riot Shield. I can't get the hang of using that damn thing, and I've been pwned a bunch of times with it. Once, I got caught without a grenade launcher class and had to resort to the default Assault Class. There was a certain savage satisfaction about getting a thumper bullseye on those shield-wielding douchebags, I must admit. The second vid is a failtage by AnojRL. How many epic fails can a game have before itself becomes an 'epic fail'? Moving on...
