10k in 363
Sunday, Nov 4th will be my 1yr anniversary for gaming on 360. I didn't have a goal for achievements, but loved the concept. I simply wanted to play Football and Gears. When I played Condemned in late January, a few dead birds shed light on my Gamerscore. I began to play most games more thoroughly and Count von Count moved in. Around this time I wondered what my GS might look like at the one-year mark and like Nostradamus on a three-day drunk, 10k seemed attainable. Lock, stock and two days to count, I'm in 5 figures. It's fun to unlock your own achievement.

Very nice. I am lagging behind, but I still remember when I hit 5,000. Achievements rock and are one of the things that make me love being a 360 owner.
Awesome. I'm right behind you at 8,982 (gotta love Orange Box for some fucked up achievement values! ;). I figure I'll easily break the 10k mark playing through HL2 and expansions, and with Assassin's Creed and Rock Band later this month.\r

yes, thanks to some developers out there who think getting a kill or leveling up deserves a hearty 37.93333 (repeating of course) Gamer Points, you getting a Gamer Score of an even 10,000 is in fact an achievement in itself! congrats! now i'm going to have to pick my achievements carefully to make sure i get that 10K screenshot!
