 I want to begin today by thanking everyone for their comments and support last week. Husband cracked, but I’m still going strong. The sleep thing has gotten a little bit better. Well by “better” I mean normal messed up, instead of extra messed up.


I still haven’t figured out how to get a new background for my blog here yet. I’m really surprised that no one here would have an answer – you guys seem to know everything.  I’ll keep trying stuff until I figure it out.  (And if anyone thinks of anything, that post is still sittin’ there.)


In gaming news I finally picked up my copy of Saints Row the Third. The single player campaign is fun enough, but the real joy is running around doing unwholesome things with a friend. This game is so very silly and over-the-top, that there’s no way to play it and not laugh. Plus, there’s plenty of things to do, making it very easy for you and a friend to waste 3 hours of your day or night!


That being said, there are some weird, how-did-they-miss-that elements to this game. For instance, all the cars you steal have playable car stereos, BUT, you and your co-op partner aren’t hearing the same thing at the same time, making it impossible to groove together. Also, the customizable characters only give you a few options, and some of those don’t bake right, and so the girl you just worked over an hour on looks downright scary.


Still, I’m having a hoot of a good time playing with my friend, and I wouldn’t trade it or him for anything.


I’ve also been having some fun playing some of the Spec-Ops missions in MW3 with another friend, a clanmate, and they are definitely more fun with help. Plus I like his company, and I’m trying to get the achievement for getting 3 stars on every mission, and I just don’t think I can do it by myself – I’m just not a strong enough player.

I got all 48 stars on the Special Ops, and some are FAR easier without a second person. Oh, and I am a marginal player at best (just determined).

@bi9 uumm both? I had a holloween background, and that's the only thing it'll put up. it's that or white.

ok, im gonna assume you have a pic that you want as your background already. click your account->gamer profile->then all the way at the bottom there is a section where you can change the background. it might not be taking what you want if the file size is too big. i had that problem with mine :(\r hope this helps!\r ca7

bi9 is prob right. the file size of the pic you want to use might be too big to use.\r Blog Background: Max size of 150kb \r if you do have a pic that you really want, try to re size it in a photo editor program or photoshop.
