Sunday, lightheaded sunday

Ever since Ive been home, my head has been feeling funky. Im not sure if I should get it looked at or not. Ive had a lightheaded, not quite headache feeling for a few days. Im thinking I just need one really good night of sleep, which I havent really had since I got home from the short vacation.

Ive been under a little stress lately. Ive got a final exam Monday evening, and Im not quite sure how Ill do. Ive done really well of the tests on this particular class so far. Most of my stress has been due to a piece of music Ive been transcribing for the orchestra I play in. The piece is well over 15 mins, and Ive been working on it for several months. I was trying to get it done by the rehearsal a month ago, but it just didnt happen. I felt like I failed in a way. I gave the conductor, whos a pretty good friend of mine that Id have it done. Ive been absolutely guaranteeing it by the next rehearsal, which happens to be in a week. Its basically done. I just need to polish things up- check to make sure there arent any errors Ive made, as well as make parts for each instrument and make it look good. there are about 30 individual parts, so it takes some time.

Im in preparation for what will be a long summer of rehearsals coming up. Im playing trumpet/flugelhorn/piccolo trumpet (basically a tiny trumpet that plays really high) for Kiss Me Kate. Things start up in a week or so, and once they do, its about 3-4 nights a week. Add that to the rehearsals I already have and that makes about 1 day of not playing in groups. Its fun, but pretty demanding.

Aside from Halo and UNO, I rented Rockstar Table Tennis. I had heard some good things about it. Ive played for only about 2 days, but its pretty fun. Not sure if its a must buy for me though. Ill probably post some kind of review on here eventually.
