I just ordered the parts I need to rebuild my racing engine for my RC car. I am rebuilding a OS Speed .21 V-Spec 2 Worlds Edition. Not for nothing, but to buy a new OS Max .21 VZ-B is about $280 which is what I am going to fork over to rebuild the speed engine. OS Speed is the tuned wing of the engine manufacturer while OS Max is the stock wing.

The Speed engine is awesome though. Easy to tune, great power and good mileage. It is the best engine I have ever owned. A new engine is about 500 bills for the new model.

In case you are wondering, I am running a Kyosho STRR EVO this year. We will be traveling and i intend to crush all.

I was given a .10 o.s. crankcase. I have no idea what to do with it, it would need to be entirely re-done, costing upwards to $150. Don't know if it's worth it.

I also have a Picco .21 that needs a new cylinder/sleeve and crankshaft (and a couple of other misc small parts). I was going to rebuild but found out that a new Ofna .26 cost less than the parts for the rebuild.

I have never trusted Ofna anything and 1 too many people have had problems with Picco at the local tracks. The LHS can't sell them and are now stuck. Not like they support 8th scale racing anyways.

Werks B5, OS XZ-B and Novarossi P5 are big here.
