$80 dollars! For coffee?

Coffee is one of my great pleasures in life. Before the Keurig, I would stop at small local roasters and buy it there. Usually, by the cup. It was expensive as heck.

Now I buy these pods. They are quite delicious. I do enjoy my coffee with real cream even though some say I am ruining the coffee. I think it adds a deep, rich velvety layer to an already fantastic drink.

My favorites are Van Houtte - Costa Rican Tarrazu light roast and the Tully's Extra bold Italian roast. The Tarrazu light roast has a distinct taste and smell. It is not wimpy like most light roast coffee. The Tully's is dark but not burnt.

There are so many dark coffee's that taste burnt to me. Every Starbuck's coffee seems burnt tasting.

Anyways, I placed a large coffee order. Everyone finds out that I am ordering and next thing you know, BAM, here is an $80 coffee order. The people at Keurig probably figure I am a crackhead. :)

I've wore out two Keurigs. Now I use a Bunn because I'm too impatient.

I don't have enough time during the week, but when the weekend hits I'm all about my french press.  I typically use La Colombe's Corisca blend.  http://www.lacolombe.com/products/corsica

YUM!!!  No cream, no sugar, just coffee please!
